PageVera saves the web page you are looking at as a PDF, PNG or Markdown file. It does this entirely inside your browser.
Nothing. PageVera has no server, no account, no analytics and no advertising. It does not send page content, browsing history, your settings or any other data to me or to anyone else.
When you choose to save a page, PageVera reads that page’s content in your browser to build the file. It only does this on the tab you saved, at the moment you save it. The file is created on your computer and handed to Chrome’s download manager.
Your options, such as which parts of a page to remove and which format to use, are stored with Chrome’s extension storage. Chrome may sync them across your own devices if you have Chrome sync turned on. Progress details for a save in progress are kept in memory for that session and cleared afterwards.
The permissions PageVera asks for, and what each is used for, are listed in the extension’s Chrome Web Store page and in the README at https://github.com/muhamoussa7/pagevera.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
Questions can be sent through the issues page at https://github.com/muhamoussa7/pagevera/issues.
